For most of us the new stimulus check which will arrive in our mailbox from the Federal Government is a long-awaited event, and is one to be celebrated. It’s not every day that the Fed actually pays us. We are so used to paying the Government our hard earned money that to actually get something back is a miracle in itself. The IRS states that millions of these economic stimulus checks are to be sent out between May 2nd and July 11th of this year.

To make matters even better for all of us taxpayers, the IRS has a website up with a special tool providing a date of when we can expect our checks. Now, the program only gives us an estimated time frame of when to expect the check and is based on the last two numbers in your SSN. Before plugging your SSN into the system, make sure that you are on a secure computer.
